Ever since I could remember I have always been musical.  Whether it be walking around humming, performing little

skits for my sisters and parents, or writing and recording myself with a tape recorder.  Music has always been inside

me.  However, it wasn't until I was 14 that I decided to pick up my dad's Fender Newporter.  One day I just started

fooling around with it and for some reason I was determined to teach myself to play.  Soon after that I also started

writing songs....they're floating around on cassette tapes somewhere....Yikes!

Playing in your room is one thing. Performing for an audience is another!  My first time playing for an audience was

at my high school's annual talent show in 2000.  I was scared to death, but I overcame it.  It proved to be a turning point

in my life.  Soon after that I joined my first band Moxie.  Moxie will always remain a very special memory to me!  I also

continued playing coffee shops, church and little gigs here and there.  I just wanted to get out there and play!

Now, I still want to get out there and play!  I have my sights set on bigger, better gigs and I always want to improve.

I also try to write as often as I can.  Unfortunately I can't turn it on or off.  I just have to wait until the moment

comes...Writing is very important to me.  It is my outlet.  I feel I can move on from a personal situation easier when I

write a song about it.  Not to say that all my songs have to be about hardships or real life.  I also enjoy writing fictional

and/or non representational songs too!  We hope to start recording our second album soon!!

And as for my other half...I feel honored to be playing with Kevin (husband, best friend, lead guitar, and producer of

From Here). He is extremely talented and he never ceases to amaze me.  Kevin makes his guitar playing look so easy!

We have great musical chemistry together and we're always challenging ourselves to learn and write new, fun songs.
